KF Philosophy — 空風(Kūfū)
空 (Kū): emptiness, potential. 風 (Fū): wind, movement.
Emptiness is not an absence: it is a raw material. It welcomes light and gives strength to every form. Each creation seeks to reveal the essential. Nothing is superfluous, nothing is added unnecessarily. Minimalism is not a style, but a method: to refine in order to clarify, to simplify in order to intensify.
To design is to structure emptiness; to create is to reveal form and matter.
It is within this tension that volumes take shape and time is inscribed.
This vision guides each of my practices:
-
Design, where structuring emptiness allows us to create objects and structures that are just, essential and sustainable.
-
Architecture, where light, proportions and use are organized to reveal the presence of a place.
-
Photography, where emptiness, materials and light become images that tell the story of space.

Background
“I seek to create object and spaces where emptiness has a presence, where light and function guide form, and where every material finds its balance and its breath.” — Killian Forton
With a Master’s degree in Architecture from UCL LOCI Brussels, I have developed over the years a careful sensitivity to space, design, and photography.
Today, I support both professionals and private clients in the conception and transformation of their spaces, focusing on precise, functional interventions guided by light.
In parallel, I create photographic work dedicated to architecture, atmospheres, and landscapes, where material, silence, and perception become subjects as much as images.

2015-2020
UCLouvain-LOCI Faculty of Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Urban Planning.
Bachelor and Master in Civil Engineering Architecture
Distinction
Studies in civil engineering and architecture enabling students to work at all scales of inhabited environments, integrating technical and cultural skills. Training in the "physical conditions" of construction and the "cultural conditions" of architecture, placing them at the intersection of these two disciplines. Preparation to meet the growing challenges of organizing inhabited spaces, combining rigor and responsibility. Emphasis on project culture, multiplying the scales of work and developing a reflective and inventive approach. Acquisition of a critical mind and synthetic thinking, approaching the architectural dimension in a comprehensive manner.
2012-2015
Saint-Luc, Brussels
Secondary Study - Space Art
Distinction
Transitional training preparing for graduate studies in fields related to architecture and three-dimensional art. General education programs applied to the field of art foster artistic sensitivity and creativity. Specific courses include the organization and representation of space, drawing, analysis of spatial forms, and three-dimensional creation, complemented by courses in art history and aesthetic analysis. A rigorous scientific training provides a solid introduction to the disciplines of architecture and design, while also serving as an excellent transition for those interested in art in general.
